Great Times®
Great Times®
Great Times is a multiplication flashcard set that gives students two kinds of practice: strategy practice to understand facts and retrieval practice to recall answers quickly. Retrieval practice means saying the answer from memory without counting. Each card shows a single digit multiplication fact with products to 100, a clear array or equal groups picture, and a short rhyme that cues strategy. Consistent practice with these cards builds fluency and automaticity.
Recommended for grades 3–5
Ideal for: warmups, math centers, small groups, intervention, tutoring, home practice, family game night
Targets: single digit multiplication facts, factor families, arrays and equal groups, skip counting patterns, strategy practice, retrieval practice, fluent recall

As a teacher I have included the Tang approach to math in my classroom. With 30 different learners I saw many of the students gather new understanding and ways to use their math thinking. The books, kits, card games, and supports provided made the learning fun. Now, I share these with my grandchildren!
These flash cards are great for short, focused study sessions. I use them with my 8-year-old, and it’s helping them memorize the multiplication facts faster. The cards are double-sided, which helps save space. My only suggestion would be to add more visuals, but overall, they are fantastic for math practice.
Just what my son needed to get extra multiplication practice. Compact and easy to carry.
I bought these for my 3rd grader, and they’ve been such a great help! The flashcards are sturdy and have clear, bold print. My child enjoys using them to practice their multiplication tables, and we’ve seen a noticeable improvement. Definitely recommend for any parent looking to reinforce math skills at home!
I homeschool my kids, and these flash cards are a must-have. I use them for both my 2nd grader and my 5th grader, and both love the challenge. The cards are durable and the perfect size for little hands. They’ve made a big difference in making multiplication less of a struggle and more of a fun activity.
